Ugly Dolls - Ugly is the new Cute!

| Pretty Ugly |
In the beginning was Wage and Wage was, well... ugly, in that cute sort of way. Wage first made his first appearance in our world as a drawing at the bottom of love letters. His illustrator/creator David Horvath would use him to sign off letters to his girlfriend designer Sun-Min Kim. Kim surprised him one year at Christmas by turning Wage into a stuffed animal. Then one day Horvath was showing off Wage to a store owner who said "Yeah , man that's great I'll take twenty." And the rest, as they say is history.

| Wage and Babo |
Soon Wage was joined by an ever-increasing group of equally cuddly and ugly friends all of whom live in the land of Pretty Ugly. Wage works at the local Super Mart, although Super Mart isn't aware of it. He likes to put things in bags; especially snacks. He also likes his best friend Babo.
Babo is best friends with everyone and when something scary happens he'll send you a greeting card from wherever he runs away to.

| OX and Wedgehead |
Another friend is OX no not the animal but OX as in hugs and kisses! OX is great at magic like turning your stuff into his stuff. His best buddy Wedgehead calls that stealing but OX just wants to borrow things from you for a few hundred years.
Wedgehead sees things the way you see them' OK so he has to stand on his head to do so, but still! He and OX are on a mission to prove that humans really do exist. They think the proof can be found in snacks.
Oh, and how about Jeero? Who just wants to hang out with you. Wage and Babo ask him so many questions and he isn't sure what makes them think he has any of the answers. What time is it? Don't ask! Jeero doesn't know. How do you get from here to there? Jeero has no idea. He just wants to sit on the couch with you and eat snacks.

| Ugly Dog |
The newest addition to the Ugly Doll family is Uglydog. He likes to help, he helps Jeero operate the rope tow and helps OX help himself to different types of snack foods. He doesn't like to sit, fetch, roll over and all that stuff. Beg? No thanks! He really likes to sit on his tail and live out his big dream of being just like you. Except for the waking up early part.
There are just to many Ugly Dolls to introduce you to so you'll just have to meet them on your own. Try hanging out at the mall, I hear they like to go on adventures in search of humans. Maybe they'll find you.

Ugly Dolls have many fans called ugly fans and the majority of them aren't children. They also have lots of ugly celebrity fans like Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, Jessica & Ashlee Simpson, Haylie & Hillarie Duff, Brittany Murphy, Dakota fanning, Debra Messing, Robin Williams, Pauly Shore, Andy Dick and rappers Nelly and Ludacris.
Ugly Dolls were recently accepted as part of the French State Toy Collection at the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs in Paris.
